The pomegranate

Pomegranate is associated with prosperity and abundance, it is a good luck talisman and a powerful antioxidant.

It is interesting this quotation of Matisse referring to pomegranate:

“.. I go now, as every morning to do my prayer, with the pencil in hand.. in front of a pomegranate covered with flowers.. imbued with admiration for the divine work.. Is this not a way of praying?.”
